About the event

Description: Lammas, or Lughnasdh, marks the first harvest, especially the grain harvest. It is a time to give thanks for the earth's abundance and honour the Celtic god Lugh. Traditionally, this festival includes feasting, bonfires, and expressions of gratitude for the land's gifts.

Where it’s celebrated: Primarily in rural areas of Scotland, especially in farming and Highland communities. It is also observed in urban areas with strong agricultural connections.
