Step back in time and immerse yourself in the elegance of the past as we celebrate the 250th birthday of Jane Austen, one of the most beloved authors in British literature. On Saturday, 27 September 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, join us for a fabulous Afternoon Tea Party that blends refined tradition with literary charm.
Jane Austen’s works have captivated readers for over two centuries with their wit, romance, and keen social observation. Her heroines, from Elizabeth Bennet to Anne Elliot, remain timeless symbols of intelligence, independence, and grace. By gathering in her honour, we are not only indulging in delicious treats but also paying tribute to a woman whose voice continues to inspire and delight.
Our celebration will feature a classic afternoon tea service — delicate finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and jam, and an array of exquisite pastries served on tiered stands, accompanied by fine teas…
