Scotland and England will do battle for the Calcutta Cup when they meet at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday 14th February during the second round of the Six Nations Championship.
England reclaimed the Calcutta Cup with a narrow 16-15 victory over Scotland at Twickenham during the 2025 Championship, ending Scotland’s run of four straight wins in the fixture.
Scotland and England played the first ever international rugby match in 1871. Since then, they have contested a total of 143 rugby test matches against each other. England have won 77 of those matches, whilst Scotland have won 47 matches. There have also been 19 drawn matches between the two nations.
