Bike and Brunch – A Morning of Cycling, Style, and Community

On 6th October, the Saint Andrew's Society of Mexico, in collaboration with Hackett London and Brompton Mexico, hosted a fantastic Bike and Brunch event in the heart of Polanco. The day began on a high note, with the stirring sound of the bagpipes filling the air as a piper led the way, setting the tone for a truly unique and festive occasion.

Participants gathered at Hackett Masaryk, dressed to impress in their finest vintage-inspired outfits, ready for a leisurely ride through the charming streets of Polanco.

Brompton Mexico played a key role in guiding the ride, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all. They also gathered an enthusiastic group of Brompton bike lovers, adding a strong sense of community and shared passion for cycling.

The ride itself was an absolute joy—cyclists of all ages took part, with a shared sense of adventure and community spirit making the morning all the more memorable. The diversity of participants, from seasoned cyclists to families and first-timers, created an inclusive and fun atmosphere.

After the ride, everyone returned to Hackett Masaryk for a well-deserved break, enjoying breakfast bites and drinks, including mimosas for the adults. The brunch provided the perfect setting to relax, socialise, and celebrate not only the love for cycling but also the friendships forged throughout the event.

A major highlight of the day was the Tweed Run dress code, where participants flaunted their best British-inspired tweed attire. Prizes were awarded to the best-dressed, adding a delightful competitive edge to the occasion and making the event all the more festive.

This event was a shining example of what can be achieved through collaboration. The teamwork between the Saint Andrew's Society, Hackett London, and Brompton Mexico showed how a shared vision can lead to extraordinary results. Every detail, from the piper's stirring tunes to the elegant Tweed Run outfits, came together perfectly to create a truly unforgettable experience.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and supported the event. We look forward to seeing you at the next edition of Bike and Brunch. If you missed out this time, don't worry—there’s always more cycling, great food, and stylish tweed to enjoy!
