New leadership at the St Andrew's Society of Mexico

Dear Members and Friends,

We are thrilled to share the highlights from our 131° Annual General Meeting held on March 5th. A momentous occasion as we witnessed the transition of leadership within our beloved society.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our outgoing Chieftain, Daniela Gutierrez, and her dedicated committee for their tireless efforts and commitment to the Saint Andrew's Society of Mexico in the last year.

Drumroll, please! We are delighted to announce the election of our new Chieftain, Alba Zazueta. Her passion, dedication, and vision for our society are truly inspiring, and we look forward to a fantastic journey under her leadership.

The new Chieftain addressed some of her plans for the next year including the traditional and well known events and a Ceilidh in May 17. Check the details for this event here.

Let's express our gratitude also to Elaine Shepherd, Rafael Gutierrez and Simply Sausages - Salchichas Artesanales for the food we shared: Haggis, neeps & tatties, sausage rolls and scones.

So, let's continue fostering the spirit of togetherness and celebration of the Scottish culture. Thanks to all the attendees...Here's to a bright future for the Saint Andrew's Society of Mexico!
